Kris Van Assche, creative director at Dior Homme, says “My grandmother told me there are two ways of living. You can either survive or you can really make a life. There is eating and there is dining. She would always give that little extra effort, and I still believe that is important – to make things more beautiful makes all the difference.”
As a well groomed homo, I was in need of a celebrity inspiration. (Suggested by Christian Siriano in his book ‘Fierce Style’.) Robin Thicke, my friends, has found himself into my heart and onto my wall of fame. =]
Never understood the meaning to this song till it (literally) woke me up today. This album really grew on me, and figuratively speaking, its been a good shoulder to lean on. Enjoy the first single – Russian Roulette.
Take a breath, take it deep
Calm yourself, he says to me
If you play, you play for keeps
Take a gun, and count to three
I’m sweating now, moving slow
No time to think, my turn to go
And you can see my heart beating
You can see it through my chest And I’m terrified but I’m not leaving
Know that I must must pass this test
So just pull the trigger
Say a prayer to yourself
He says close your eyes
Sometimes it helps
And then I get a scary thought
That he’s here means he’s never lost
*And to you folks that didn’t get it – its all about love. Raunchy, exciting, terrifying love.
After reading Christian Siriano’s book Fierce Style, I decided to post my own ways to own and operate your own runway. Stay fierce ‘La-dy’!
First set of advice, always carry some form of literature. Nothing is sexier than a guy with a book-in-hand. I usually carry a book along with a new magazine. Having variety helps avoid monotony.
This is one hot track. Its like D. Woods read my mind and made a song out of it
Babe….I wanna wake up in the morning to yo face
And for the one you love, im staring at you again
And tell me deep down that you feel the same
Ooh babe…I know within my heart my love don’t change
Thats why im play-in along with your game
All this shit here got me feelin strange
This is my current read. Although everything in the book is pretty obvious, I find it refreshingly entertaining. To be honest, I don’t find Christian to be that fierce, but I do find him to be a great judge of fashion and a ‘ferosh’ individual overall.
